Lipinski announces 2014 Congressional Art Competition

WESTERN SPRINGS – Congressman Dan Lipinski, D-Western Springs, is accepting submissions from high school students in the Third Congressional District of Illinois for the 2014 Congressional Art Competition.

The winning piece, announced in May, will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year and the winner will be given two roundtrip tickets to the exhibit's opening this June.

Students must include a student information and release form – found at www.lipinski.house.gov – with the submissions. Guidelines can also be found online.

Submissions, due by April 23, should be sent to the district offices at 6245 S. Archer Ave., Oak Lawn; 5309 W. 95th St., Lockport, 222 E. 9th St.; or 14700 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park.
