Police reports: West Chicago for April 24

Assault

• Enrique Huerta, 22, 113 N. Aurora St., was charged with aggravated assault at 5:14 p.m. April 6 in the 100 block of North Aurora Street. Huerta also had an unspecified in-state warrant at the time of his arrest.

• Antonio Vazquez-Lopez, 39, 1223 S. Kings Cross, was charged with aggravated assault at 1:34 a.m. April 6 in the 1200 block of South Kings Cross.

Domestic battery

• Rodolfo Villegas, 48, 232 Ann St., was charged with domestic battery at 6:56 a.m. April 7 in the 200 block of Ann Street.

• Alejandro Tafoya, 38, 971 Lorlyn Drive, was charged with domestic battery at 7:32 p.m. April 8 in the 900 block of Lorlyn Drive.

Drug possession

Gerardo Tochimani Jr., 25, 30W151 Lindenwood Drive, Warrenville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal at 9:25 p.m. April 12 at Washington Street and Illinois Route 59.

DUI

Pablo Alonso, 31, 650 W. Forest Ave., was charged with assault and driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:05 p.m. April 6 in the 100 block of West Roosevelt Road.

Sex-offender registration

A sex offender registered at 9:38 a.m. April 10 at the West Chicago Police Department, 325 Spencer St.

Burglary

• A laptop, laptop bag and iPad were reported stolen from an apartment at 10 a.m. April 7 in the 200 block of High Street.

• Six $100 bills, four rings and two necklaces were reported stolen from a house at 7:30 a.m. April 11 in the 300 block of Clayton Street.

Harassment

An incident involving harassment by telephone was reported at 12:46 p.m. April 9 in the 1200 block of Kings Circle.

Fraud

An incident involving identity theft and fraud was reported at noon April 11 in the 100 block of West Geneva Street.

Theft

• Aung Htwe, 44, 141 W. Hazel St., was charged with retail theft – shoplifting at 4:01 p.m. April 6 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.

• Ryan Butcher, 34, 1047 Oak St., St. Charles, was charged with retail theft – shoplifting at 11 a.m. April 12 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.

• License plates were reported stolen at 4 p.m. April 9 in the 300 block of Fremont Street.

• A Samsung Galaxy S3 was reported missing at 9:30 p.m. April 9 in the 700 block of Wendall Avenue.

• License plates were reported stolen at noon April 10 at West Washington and Wood streets.

• A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 6 p.m. April 11 in the 800 block of Burr Oaks Drive.

Graffiti

• Graffiti was reported spray painted on a fence at 2:39 p.m. April 11 in the 200 block of George Street.

• Graffiti was reported spray painted on the railroad and CN box at 7:10 a.m. April 12 at Ann Street and the CN railroad tracks.

• Graffiti was reported spray painted on a fence at 6:30 p.m. April 12 in the 200 block of George Street.

Warrant arrests

• Carmelo Barrios, 29, 530 Carriage Drive, was arrested on an unspecified in-state warrant at 5:10 p.m. April 7 in the 500 block of Carriage Drive.

• Octavio Gonzalez, 33, 1221 Wards Ferry Road, Lynchburg, Va., was arrested on an unspecified in-state warrant at 3:16 p.m. April 10 at the West Chicago Police Department, 325 Spencer St.

• Elvia Montoya-Gutierrez, 22, 812 W. Union Ave., Wheaton, was served an unspecified outstanding warrant from another jurisidiction at 1:47 p.m. April 10 at the West Chicago Police Department, 325 Spencer St.

Reckless conduct

An incident involving reckless conduct was reported at 10 p.m. April 11 in the 1200 block of South Kings Circle.

Traffic violation

• Sergio Tochimani, 35, 30W243 Bedford Lane, Warrenville, was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and speeding in a school zone at 12:44 p.m. April 8 at Joliet Street and Forest Avenue.

• Luis Gonzalez-Martinez, 37, 1734 Plum St., Aurora, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license at 3:02 p.m. April 8 at West Hawthorne Lane and Powis Road.

• George Fisher, 56, 1506 Flag Day Drive, Batavia, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and speeding at 3:45 p.m. April 8 at Roosevelt Road and Bishop Street.

Stray dog

• Cristina Alcantar, 19, 202 Ann St., West Chicago was charged in an incident related to stray dogs at 1:05 p.m. April 8 at Weyrauch and Ann streets.

Found animal reported

An animal was reported found at 1 p.m. April 12 in the 300 block of Thomas Drive.

Lost items reported

• A T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 was reported lost at 6 p.m. April 9 in the 800 block of Burr Oaks Drive.

• A pink wallet containing an Illinois driver’s license, Illinois ID, Link card, two debit cards and $10 in cash was reported lost at 6 p.m. April 11 in the 1200 block of South Kings Circle.

Found items reported

A Samsung Galaxy S3 was found and turned into the West Chicago Police Department at 3:15 p.m. April 11 in the 500 block of West Washington Street.
