Yorktown Center to host renovation ribbon-cutting ceremony

LOMBARD – Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of its new renovations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 2 at the mall, Highland Avenue and Butterfield Road.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. and will be followed immediately by complementary food and beverage tastings from Yorktown restaurants, live music, giveaways and more.

The event is free and open to the public. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., the first 200 guests to visit the mall's check-in table will receive a free lilac sapling to plant.
