Elmhurst Park District to host 18th annual Art in the Park event

ELMHURST – Art in the Park returns to Wilder Park next week for the 18th year.

The event will feature more than 100 artists and their original creations, which will include one-of-a-kind jewelry, glass, ceramics, painting, wood, photography, sculpture, paper and mixed media.

In addition to art, there will be kids' art activities, a food vendor court and gourmet food gift section. School of Rock will also perform.

Art in the Park will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3 and 4 at Wilder Park.

Wilder Mansion will be open for coffee, pastries, and lunch provided by Café Amano on both days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Elmhurst Art Museum will be open free to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
