Laser Therapy Center opens in Minooka

MINOOKA – Dr. Joann L. Maruszak has opened Minooka Laser Therapy Center at 524 West Mondamin St., Minooka, in the same building where Maruszak has practiced for almost 20 years.

MLS Laser therapy has no known side effects and is a comfortable, effective and convenient treatment for old or new injuries. Chronic arthritis pain, back pain, neck pain, bursitis, hip or knee pain, sciatica, tendonitis, shoulder pain, post-surgical pain, neuropathy and fibromyalgia are only a few of the conditions that can be treated with MLS laser therapy.

Maruszak is an active member of the community. She founded Minooka Family Chiropractic in 1996. Maruszak received her doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1996 and her bachelor of science in biology from the College of St. Francis in 1992. Maruszak is a member of the Laser Pain Management Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society, ICA Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics and Palmer Alumni Association.
