Plainfield resident elected president of autism awareness board

PLAINFIELD – Kerri McGrail of Plainfield, a senior studying biomedical sciences in the College of Undergraduate Health Sciences at Marquette University, was elected president of Autism Speaks U Marquette for the 2014-15 school year.

Autism Speaks U is a newly developed national organization that is a branch of Autism Speaks. This specific program has been created for college campuses across the country in order to build awareness and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder.

McGrail will plan fundraising and awareness events as well as heading up the executive board monthly meetings.
