LISLE – Lisle resident Aubrey Sieve received multiple honors for her knowledge about horses last month, according to a news release from 4-H.

Sieve and her teammate, Nora James, of Glen Ellyn, took the top title for senior team presentation in the annual State 4-H Horse Speech Contest on April 12 at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

She also received fifth place in the senior division of the Illinois State 4-H Hippology Contest on April 13, also at the University of Illinois. Hippology is an individual competition consisting of several tests of horse-related knowledge.

Additionally, Sieve earned sixth place in the senior division of the Illinois 4-H Horse Bowl, which was the same day and location as the Hippology event. The Horse Bowl is comparable to a scholar bowl, but features questions about the horse industry.
