Members of the North Riverside Firefighters Union Local 2714 presented a check for $2,500 to the North Riverside Little League at the Opening Day ceremonies Saturday.

NORTH RIVERSIDE – Members of the North Riverside Firefighters Union Local 2714 presented a check for $2,500 to the North Riverside Little League at the Opening Day ceremonies Saturday at Veterans Park in North Riverside.

Union members raised the donated funds through their recently held annual spaghetti dinner. Little League President Al Sarro said that the much-needed funding, will help ensure a great start to the league's 2014 season.
