St. Michael Parish School announces new principal

WHEATON – St. Michael Parish School has announced its incoming principal, according to a school news release.

Currently assistant principal at St. Joan of Arc School in Lisle, Lisa Brown will take over effective July 1. She was unanimously recommended by the school's search team and has previously taught at Transfiguration of Our Lord School in Chicago, Community Unit School District 303 in St. Charles, St. Rita of Cascia School in Aurora, as well as at St. Joan of Arc.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education and early childhood education from Northeastern Illinois University and a masters degree in educational school leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

A meet-and-greet coffee reception for Brown will take place immediately after noon mass on June 22 at St. Michael Parish School, 314 W. Willow St.
