Downers Grove chamber luncheon to give business marketing advice

DOWNERS GROVE – The Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host a general membership luncheon Wednesday to provides professionals with information on how to market their business effectively in 2014.

There will be a discussion on how to use social media to grow business and how to successfully use it to brand your business, according to a press release. Also, attendees will learn how to understand the return on investment from the time applied to business’s social media.

The event is sponsored by the DeVry Education Group and will be facilitated by Heather Johnson of Parkers’ Restaurant and Bar. The panelists participating in this discussion include Jennifer Dooley of the DeVry Education Group, Brian Sharp of BridgePoint Technologies and Paul Kludac of Detail Kings.

The event will start at 11:30 a.m. and end at 1:15 p.m.

It will take place at the Seven Bridges Golf Club located at One Mulligan Drive in Woodridge. The cost for members is $25 and the cost for future members is $35. Tabletops can be purchased at $50.
