ADDISON

Battery

Samuel Alcaraz, 24, of the 2300 block of North Menard Avenue, Chicago, was charged with battery at 10:38 a.m. June 10 in the 100 block of Rohlwing Road.

Endangering a child

Anayeli Magdaleno-Sarabia, 28, of the 100 block of Janice Lane, was charged with endangering the life or health of a child at 9:40 p.m. May 29 in the 200 block of West Lake Street after leaving two children alone in a car while she went into a store.

DUI

• Rafael Dziura, 41, of the 18W200 block of Sidney Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, not having insurance and improper lane usage at 12:14 a.m. June 5 in the 900 block of South Michigan Avenue.

• Uriel Antonio-Franco, 30, of the 600 block of Willow Wood Drive, Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to signal at 3:55 a.m. June 22 at Mill Road and Stevens Drive.

• Wilson Cifuentes, 22, of the zero block of South Wisconsin Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, no insurance and improper lane usage at 9:15 p.m. June 26 at Mill Road and Stevens Drive.

• Manuel Arambula, 24, of the 2900 block of North Dayton Street, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to wear a seat belt, improper lane usage and failure to signal at 1:01 a.m. June 29 at Addison Road and Michael Lane.

Burglary

• A black Iron Horse mountain bicycle was stolen from a garage between 5:30 and 7 p.m. June 15 in the zero block of South Vista Avenue.

Theft

• Michael E. Wassmund, 40, of the 300 block of Lincoln Court, was charged with theft at 9:04 p.m. June 3 near his home after stealing a laptop.

• Linda A. Ferrara, 42, of the 500 block of James Court, Glendale Heights, was charged with retail theft at 7:14 p.m. June 15 in the 1000 block of North Rohlwing Road.

• Stephen J. Misicka, 24, of the 300 block of South Oak Street, Bartlett, was charged with theft at 1:15 a.m. July 9 in the 2200 block of Lake Street.

• Victoria Hernandez-Martinez, 23, of the 500 block of North Kenilworth Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with retail theft at 4:58 p.m. June 30 in the 1000 block of North Rohlwing Road.

• Jennifer A. Kilarski, 36, and Susanne M. Sheeler, 44, both of the 500 block of Stevens Drive, were charged with retail theft at 9:25 p.m. June 30 in the 1000 block of Rohlwing Road. Kilarski was also cited for driving while license suspended.

Marijuana possession

Luis A. Ortiz, 19, of the 800 block of South Ellsworth Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:25 a.m. May 28 near his home.

Alcohol possession on public property

Javier Olague, 35, of the 200 block of West Parkview Drive, and Ernesto Ramirez-Rodriguez, 30, of the zero block of Michael Lane, were charged with possession of alcohol on public property at 8:21 a.m. June 27 in the 100 block of East Oak Street.

Underage drinking

• Fernando Orozco, 18, of the zero block of Elizabeth Drive, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 6:06 p.m. June 4 at Lullo Drive and Michael Lane.

• Sergio Leyva, 18, of the 400 block of Green Oaks Court, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the zero block of Elizabeth Drive.

• Cali M. Sciarabba, 18, of the 200 block of East Irving Park Road, Wood Dale, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 10:05 p.m. July 4 at Haddon Place and Kendall Terrace.

Criminal damage

A car was struck with a hammer, damaging the front windows on both the driver's and passenger's sides at 11:38 p.m. June 4 in the 500 block of West Lake Street.

BENSENVILLE

Attack

A man reported four men attacked him while he was walking and stole his wallet at 3:30 a.m. June 17 at Route 83 and Mark Street. The men exited a Ford Expedition, hit the pedestrian in the face with a wrench and fled the scene heading south on Route 83.

Domestic battery

• Luis Hernandez, 32, of the 100 block of East George Street, was charged with domestic battery at 12:56 a.m. June 18 at his home.

• Jade Tucker, 28, of the 1300 block of Brookwood Street, was charged with domestic battery at 4:35 p.m. June 23 at her home.

DUI

• Allen Howell, 52, of the 600 block of Renford Road, Knoxville, Tenn., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:07 a.m. June 21 at Green Street and York Road.

• Zygmunt Borek, 63, of the 300 block of Oxford Lane, Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:19 p.m. June 21 at Irving Park and York roads.

• Carlos X. Montanez, 24, of the zero block of West Main Street, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:34 a.m. July 6 at Green and Mason streets.

Theft

• Sammie Anderson, 53, of the 500 block of East 115th Street, Chicago, was charged with theft at 5:36 p.m. June 17 in the 1100 block of South York Road.

• Six cables and two batteries were reported stolen at 5:51 a.m. June 16 in the 800 block of Supreme Drive.

• A television was reported stolen at 5:51 p.m. June 16 in the 900 block of West Irving Park Road.

• Jewelry was reported stolen at 1:46 p.m. June 17 in the 100 block of East Washington Street.

• Prescriptions were reported stolen at 4:19 p.m. June 17 in the 100 block of North Church Road.

• A sump pump hose was reported stolen at 8:20 p.m. June 19 in the 1300 block of Brookwood Street.

• Copper pipes were reported stolen from a newly-built home at 9:39 p.m. June 21 in the 100 block of Rose Street.

• Three trailers were reported stolen at 12:49 p.m. June 23 in the 600 block of Thorndale Avenue.

• An iPad was reported stolen from an unlocked car at 7:30 p.m. June 25 in the 1100 block of West Wood Street.

• A bike was reported stolen at 10:54 a.m. June 26 in the 500 block of West Main Street.

• A laptop was reported stolen at 10:56 p.m. June 26 in the zero block of Jacquelyn Drive.

• Three semi-trailers were reported stolen at 12:30 p.m. July 3 in the 700 block of Larsen Lane.

• A cell phone was reported stolen at 6:11 p.m. July 5 in the 1100 block of West Wood Street.

• Roofing materials were reported stolen at 6:26 a.m. July 7 in the 800 block of Eagle Drive.

Indecent conduct

• Elias Lopez, 20, of the 100 block of Bridget Court; Fredy Lopez, 26, of the 100 block of Bridget Court; Secilio Ramos, 21, of the 100 block of Gerry Steven Court; and Abel Lopez, 21, of the 1000 block of South York Road were charged with indecent conduct at 9:04 a.m. July 3 in the 100 block of Gerry Steven Court. Abel Lopez was also charged with not having a valid driver's license.

Public intoxication

Fernando Lopez, 42, of the 600 block of Duck Lane, Wood Dale, was charged with public intoxication at 11:37 p.m. July 4 at George Street and York Road.

Disorderly conduct

A juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct at 2:59 p.m. June 22 in the 600 block of South York Road.

Identity theft

• A woman reported someone filed for unemployment with her social security number at 5:43 p.m. June 17 in the 300 block of East Crest Street.

• A man reported someone using his identity at 9:50 a.m. June 23 in the 100 block of North Church Road.

• A woman's debit card was used without her permission at 2:20 p.m. June 26 in the 600 block of South York Road.

Property damage

• A rear door lock to a business was reported damaged at 8:11 a.m. June 21 in the zero block of South Center Street.

• A car was reported keyed at 6:05 p.m. June 25 in the 1100 block of Judson Street.

• A rock was thrown through a front glass door at 6:40 a.m. June 27 in the 1300 block of West Irving Park Road.

• The rear door of a village-owned home was reported damaged at 1:09 p.m. July 2 in the 500 block of East Pine Avenue.

• A mailbox was reported damaged at 8:20 a.m. July 5 in the 300 block of Park Street.
