GLEN ELLYN – A letter delivered to all Glen Ellyn residents from Commonwealth Edison stating it would be their new electrical supplier was sent in error, according to a village news release.

Residents enrolled in the electrical aggregation program with Verde will remain on the program.

Starting Aug. 1, residents who did not opt out of the electric aggregation program will be automatically enrolled with FirstEnergy Solutions, the village's new electric provider.

No residents will lose electricity. Anyone looking to confirm their enrollment in the program is advised to call FirstEnergy Solutions at 888-651-5200.
