West Chicago library patrons discover world of Legos

WEST CHICAGO – David (from left) and Micah Weber take the scavenger hunt challenge during West Chicago Public Library District's LegoMania program, which returned to the library July 18 and 19.

Almost 450 children and adults enjoyed a massive Lego town display at the event that included operating trains and a replica of the historic West Chicago train depot.

Kids who participated in the scavenger hunt to find hidden characters in the display all received free tickets to the Illinois Railway Museum or a ticket for a drawing to win a Lego building set of their own.
