WHEATON – The Wheaton Band Festival gave residents and visitors alike an excuse to lay out their blankets and enjoy some classic tunes Friday and Saturday in Memorial Park.

Five area bands played across the two nights of free concerts, including the Chicago Brass Band, Swing Low Sweet Cadillac, the Fox Valley Concert Band, the Nite Hawks and the Northshore Concert Band.
