Construction to close Huntley intersection next week

Published: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 4:31 p.m. CDT

HUNTLEY – The intersection of Algonquin Road and Church Street in Huntley will be partially closed, starting on Monday, because of repairs to a nearby sanitary sewer system.

The road closures should last until Friday, Aug. 8, when the project is expected to be completed, Huntley officials said in a news release.

Algonquin Road, near the Church Street intersection, will be reduced to one lane in both east and westbound directions. The left turn lanes along the road onto Church Street will also be closed.

Access to Algonquin Road from Church Street will be reduced to right-turn traffic in both the north and southbound directions.
