Four vehicles were involved in a collision that sent one person to the hospital Thursday morning in unincorporated DuPage County near Lisle and Glen Ellyn.

The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District was dispatched at 7:44 a.m. to Route 53 and Park Boulevard, according to Battalion Chief Patrick Reynolds.

The incident included four vehicles, one of which rolled over, Reynolds said, causing significant damage.

Six people were affected by the collision, one of whom was transported to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Reynolds.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation, Reynolds said.

As a result of the collision, lanes were reduced in the area for about an hour. First responders from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office rerouted traffic.
