BERWYN – Both Berwyn Metra stations, at Oak Park Avenue and Harlem Avenue, have been earmarked for masonry and roofing repairs. Those repairs are about to begin.

The City Council approved a contract with Alsip-based Grove Masonry Maintenance, in the amount $360,000, as part of an overall train station improvement project. Federal funds in the amount of $392,000 were approved through the Federal Transit Administration in August 2012.

The federal funding was designated for repairs to the Depot District Station on Oak Park Avenue, the Harlem Avenue Station and the parking deck on Grove Avenue between Windsor Avenue and 34th Street.
