Lombard Public Works to issue resident survey on water system services

Published: Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 3:29 p.m. CDT

LOMBARD - The Lombard Public Works Department will assess its drinking water system services by issuing a survey to village residents in the coming weeks.

The village's Water Use Survey examines the Cross Connection Control Program to test for unknown or questionable safety or quality, which may lead to flow problems between piping systems, according to a village news release.

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency requires the Aqua BackFlow-administered surveys to be completed by village residents biennially.

Questions regarding the Water Use Survey should be directed to the Public Works Department at (630) 620-5740 or email publicworks@villageoflombard.org.
